Frequently asked questions
What types of services do you provide?
We provide personalised antenatal care, postnatal support, infant feeding consultations, antenatal classes for couples, and one-off maternity appointments. Our services can complement NHS care or be used as standalone support.
Do you provide labour care?
No. I currently provide antenatal, postnatal, and infant feeding support only.
Where do appointments take place?
Appointments can take place in the comfort of your home or virtually. Antenatal classes are in small group settings face to face.
How long should I plan for appointments?
Appointments usually last 60–90 minutes. This gives us plenty of time to answer your questions, provide education, and offer emotional support.
Do you support all feeding choices, including bottle-feeding and combination feeding?
Absolutely! We support all feeding choices, including bottle-feeding and combination feeding, with non-judgmental, evidence-based guidance tailored to your needs.
Are you a qualified midwife?
Yes. I am a UK-registered midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and a member of IMUK.
What if I need urgent medical advice?
If you have urgent concerns, you should contact your local NHS maternity unit. They are open 24hours everyday including bank holidays.
How much do your services cost?
Prices vary depending on the service or package. A full pricing list is available on the website.
Can I use your services if I have a high-risk pregnancy?
Yes. I provide education and emotional support alongside specialist NHS care. I do not replace medical or obstetric input.
Do your services replace NHS maternity care?
Not at all! Our services are here to complement NHS maternity care. We offer longer appointments, continuity, and emotional well-being support for families looking for additional private care.
What do your antenatal classes cover?
Classes cover pregnancy, labour preparation, early postnatal recovery, newborn care, infant feeding, and partner support.
Are your antenatal classes suitable for first-time parents?
Yes. Classes are designed to support first-time parents as well as those having another baby.
